Warehouse Worker Position
We are a highly customer focused organization seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our team. This is a position for an individual that enjoys distribution warehouse work and has good attention to detail. You must be a self-starter who is hardworking, highly motivated, and able to work under little supervision. You must be a team player, and excellent communicator who is able to follow directions efficiently. In general you will be preparing outgoing orders, assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, and other general warehouse duties.


  • Minimum of one year experience working in a distribution warehouse setting.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation diploma or equivalent.
  • Have or be willing to obtain a Class C w/Hazmat license within your first 90 days of employment.
  • Weight handling experience and physical capability (50 + lbs.).
  • Experience in using industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts, dollies and hand trucks, and pallet lifters.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other software programs


  • Prior battery knowledge preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Team player with excellent oral communications with track record of being dependable and reliable.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented.
  • Organized, with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable in a multi-task environment.


  • Working in cooperation with both the sale team and the drivers to ensure customers’ needs are met.
  • Accurately preparing outgoing orders for shipment and successful delivery.
  • Receiving, labeling and organizing incoming products.
  • Working with Quality Control for testing of incoming and outgoing products.
  • Palletizing and wrapping scrap batteries.
  • Utilize a forklift to safely store and move product around the warehouse.
  • Accurately preparing and completing daily paperwork using the company’s record keeping software.
  • Maintaining inventory within the warehouse and other required basic warehouse duties.
  • Controlling the movement of inventory in, through, and out of the warehouse.
  • Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
  • Other responsibilities as designated by the warehouse manager, which may include deliveries.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse including operation of the floor scrubber.
